- NOTE: The Washington Floating Home Landlord Tenant Act of 1977 was vetoed by the governor because all of the floating home were located in the Seattle area and fell under existing Seattle Ordinance. As a result, the right of floating home owners in Seattle are governed by the city of Seattle’s Municipal Code
