DESCRIPTION:If you haven’t come to a Coalition or Subcommittee meeting before OR if you would like to better understand what is at stake and help contribute to thinking through possible outcomes and solutions to benefit you as a floating home owner\, this is THE meeting for you!!! \nOne of the MH Coalition facilitators is drafting the marina issues bill language right now.  He is taking his best pass on what he understands floating home tenants and landlords currently agree on and want to submit for (hopeful) voting into law in early 2019.  We will review the bill language on October 31st with the group of landlords and marina owners to make FINAL agreements on the proposed law changes. \nIn preparation for this October 31 bill language review meeting\, it is important that we understand the process of how our wishes become law\, the issues floating home owners are experiencing\, the current laws\, and the repercussions of these changes should they get voted into law. \nWe will be reviewing each proposed change to the law and discussing the potential negative and positive impacts these new laws will have on our lives. \nThis meeting will be held in St. Johns at The Wayfinding Academy – please enter through the side door and make your way to the back to the room called The Commons.  There will be other events going on in the building to this time. \nFLOATING HOME OWNER TENANTS-ONLY please \nTo join our mailing list for up-to-date info and commentary about your rights and this process\, to participate in spreading the word or posting flyers at your marina\, email us at rights@floatinghomeowners.com and let us know your name and in which rental moorage you live.
